In this video, a young woman looks down at a stack of DVDs held in her hands. Beside her stands the vendor. As the vendor touches the money, we close in on the young woman's eyes. Glimpses of the consequences flash before her. The PSA was conceived and filmed in partnership with MTV Networks and the CauseWay Agency.

Dec 6, 2011The National Crime Prevention Council has launched a robust anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy public service campaign. In this video, Addie Brownlee (www.addiebrownlee.com), a young musician, plays her guitar to the commuting crowd in a subway station. At her feet is a guitar case open for donations, some loose bills are scattered inside. As she sings commuters gather around but one by one they remove money from her guitar case.

The Innovation Lifecycle is an interactive, multimedia project that involves more than 30 voices representing a broad range of innovative and creative sectors. The interactive video experience is aimed at educating policymakers and the public about the importance of intellectual property (IP) in the innovative and creative process.
The project takes you on a journey through the lifecycle of innovation and educates the viewer on the various stages required to take an idea from initial inception all the way to the marketplace where it reaches consumers.

This video showcases the simple facts about IP—IP-dependent industries represent 40% of America's economic growth, account for more than $5 trillion of the gross domestic product, and comprise more than half of all exports. Additionally, 18 million Americans work in IP-intensive industries. These jobs often pay better and are expected to grow faster over the next decade than the national average.
