Trinh Nguyen
Trinh Nguyen is the director of Communications and Marketing at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Intellectual Property Center (GIPC). She leads the GIPC Communications team in developing and overseeing the execution of its comprehensive communication campaigns. Nguyen also manages all multimedia operations, including media relations, social media programs, and marketing initiatives.
Since joining the Chamber in September 2009, Nguyen has played an instrumental role in revamping the GIPC website, leading GIPC’s efforts in utilizing new media, and raising GIPC’s public profile as the go-to place for all IP-related matters through earned media.
Previously, Nguyen served in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), working closely with regional and functional policy offices within USTR and policy officials in related federal agencies to develop public messaging of U.S. trade policies. During the presidential transition phase in 2009, Nguyen managed all press and public relations components for the agency.
Nguyen graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in political science and criminal justice. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in international affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University.
