GIPC's Internship Program

The mission of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Intellectual Property Center (GIPC) is to champion intellectual property (IP) as a vital tool to advance global economic growth, promote human progress, and create innovative solutions to global challenges. The goals of the Center are to document and explain the value of IP, ensure strong government support for IP in the United States, rally allied nations and organizations to defend IP, and hold governments accountable for IP protection.

Interns at GIPC will have the opportunity to learn about the important role IP plays in our society, while assisting GIPC staff implement the Chamber’s domestic and international IP programs concerning the most pressing issues affecting IP and innovation today.  Tasks that interns are charged with include: conducting research on IP-related issues, managing GIPC databases, providing logistical support for GIPC events and programs, attending Congressional hearings, and performing administrative duties, including website management. Interns will also work on additional special projects that are aligned with their academic and professional interests.
